Precautions are always to be taken around any moving machinery or equipment. Please, do not treat capping machinery as an exception.

Swan-Matic continually strives to make our equipment safer for its users. These Swan-Matic capping machine safety features help reduce risks associated with hair and clothing in the vicinity of rotating capping machinery. With the exception of the C600 and a non-necessity on the 50PD (available if desired), all other capping machine models have been equipped with the Vu-Guard since early 2003.

• The adjustable column lock handle, when tightened, prevents the capper from slipping down the column.
• The v-block switch (part #C325E) stops the machine cycle when a bottle is removed, which helps prevent and reduce injuries
• The C240 (factory installed) Vu-Guard helps reduce risks associated with hair and clothing in the vicinity of rotating capping machinery.
